Qualia is a Toronto-based startup of two founders building Kuro, the AI creative studio that turns a single description into images, videos, voice-overs and music. No departments, no layers — just two builders and a fleet of AI agents.
Why Qualia?
In philosophy, qualia are the felt qualities of experience — the redness of red, the warmth of a sunrise over Angkor. We named the company after them because that's what Kuro is for: turning an idea in your head into something people can see, hear and feel.
